Day 9 – Voidable Contract
Definition: a contract that is valid initially but can be set aside by one of the parties due to factors like misrepresentation, duress, or lack of capability.
Example: A contract signed by a minor may be voidable at the minor’s discretion.
Example: A 12-year-old signs a contract to work at a toy factory full time. Since minors lack full contractual capacity, the contract is voidable.
