Dispute Litigation, Commercial & Business Solicitors Coventry-summerfield browne solicitors

Summerfield Browne Solicitors have any links with Coventry and have been providing high quality and a wide range of business services at affordable prices, in and around the Coventry and West Midlands area. Coventry is the second largest city in the West Midlands Area. Although Coventry is officially in the West Midlands area, it has been twice included in to Warwickshire. It was founded and given its city status in the Middle Ages. During the Blitz in WWII, most of the historic buildings in the heart of the city were lost and around half of the housing stock was either damaged or destroyed. The main raid in Nov 1940 lasted 11 hours.

Coventry has been an important industrial center over the ages.  In the 19th century it became home to a large bicycle industry which evolved into major center of the British motor industry in the 20th Century with the household names or Routes Group, Peugeot, Jaguar/Land Rover and Coventry Climax to name a few.

The phrase “Being sent to Coventry” is a well-known saying meaning to be ignored however there seems to be several suggestions of where the phrase came from. Some believe it dates from the English Civil War. Parliamentarian supporters would take Royalist prisoners of war to Coventry where they were shunned by the locals. Others believe it comes from the period of Henry III where there were hangings from a Covin tree outside the city’s castle. Some even suggest it may be linked to a Roman settlement where the prisoners were kept in solitary confinement.

Summerfield Browne are all highly experienced business solicitors with either a background in working for well-known law firms and/or experience in holding senior legal positions, which means the services they provide are second-to-none.

This exceptional level of service is provided to customers at an affordable rate, due to the innovative and unique business model we have applied at Summerfield Browne that allows us to make drastic savings on the running of our business, savings which we then pass onto our customers as competitive rates.

Our innovative business model

At Summerfield Browne, we pride ourselves on our low and competitive prices, as well as the fixed or capped rates we are able to provide most of our customers with. We are able to provide our quality services at this amazingly low price because of the unique and innovative business model we have in place. By operating our law firm differently from most, we are able to save money on our overheads, and pass this saving to our valued clients as reduced fees.
Most solicitors will have a headquarters and a range of smaller offices located around the country, all of which are in full operation and as a result, are increasing the overheads of the company. We, on the other hand, have a similar setup, but only our headquarters is in full operation. The smaller offices around the UK are used on an ‘as and when basis’. We have administrative work being carried out in these offices daily, but our solicitors work remotely and all meetings are carried out either remotely, or at the client’s business premises. Only by request do we hold meetings in our smaller offices. As we use these offices much less than most companies, our overheads are greatly reduced, allowing us to lower the price of our services.

Working remotely like this has a wide range of benefits for us as a company and our clients. The financial benefit is the main reason we do this, but we have also found that working remotely actually boosts our productivity and effectiveness. Remote working saves our solicitors and our customers time in travelling and preparing for face-to-face meetings. And because we use the latest in IT technology, our communications are prompt, secure and reliable, we are able to answer customer queries much quicker, giving you peace of mind that if you were to run into a legal issue, your solicitors would respond to you in a timely manner.

Don’t take our word for it, see what our clients think of our services on our reviews page.
